Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium: Spooktacular

Bring your little ghouls and goblins to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium® for Spooktacular. Join in the fun on October 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29, 2017, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Purchase tickets in advance for $8.95 per person for Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium® members or $9.95 per person for non-members online or at Guest Services. Children 2 and under are free. Help us stay green by bringing your own trick-or-treat bag to fill with candy and other goodies.
When the sun goes down, what happens at the Zoo? Visit the Lied Jungle® to see free-flying bats or stop by Kingdoms of the Night® to see nocturnal animals during their daylight cycle. The evening includes admission to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium after-hours, trick-or-treating and fun interactive activities. Get up close and personal with different Animal Ambassadors, special animals used for educating visitors, and enjoy balloon-twisted figurines from Omaha balloon artists. Meet your favorite characters for a fun photo opportunity at Storybook Lane. Come to Spooktacular, and get ready for a candy-munchin, moon-howlin good time.
Spooktacular event tickets do not include general Zoo admission since this event occurs after regular Zoo operating hours. Event is rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable. Exhibits open for Spooktacular include: Lied Jungle®, Kingdoms of the Night®, Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium, and Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Pavilion.

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium’s admission gates and exhibit buildings will close early on October 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29. Admission gates will close at 3:30 p.m. and exhibit buildings will close at 4:30 p.m. Zoo grounds will be cleared at 4:30 p.m. with re-admittance beginning at 5:30 p.m. for the event with a pre-purchased ticket.
The train and Skyfari will also close at 3:45 p.m. during these nights.
